Family Homestay

中国版本  Francais

The Starlight Educaltural Institute (SEI) is pleased to invite

a limited number of Chinese students (boys and girls)

to join our founder in a homestay program at his home

starting January 2017, in Ottawa, Canada's capital city.

Chinese students, with their parents' support, must of course be interested in studying in Canada, be accepted to a Canadian institution, high school or university, and meet the government's student visa criteria.

Qualified students who decide to study in Ottawa will benefit from SEI’s Educaltural Family Homestay (EFH), a true “home away from home” environment that will provide them with the security and quality personal care that parents seek for their only child, and that will ensure their success and comfort while studying in Canada.  The management, monitors, health and tutoring staff will be adults with a vested interest in maintaining a caring‑sharing environment that provides ongoing help with studies as well as lifestyle choices.

EFH’s advantages are:  (a) secure housing;  (b) caring services;  (c) personalized services;  (d) motivated management, monitors, health-givers and tutors;  and (e) option to stay in Canada after graduating to look for a job, and eventually apply for permanent residency.

More information is available in our public-agency EFH presentation.

EFH is a proof-of-concept initiative to highlight the merits of the G4Habitat concept (see separate One-Pager) that focuses on education and culture, with the proper living and learning environment.  Check out S.E.I 's EFH "One-Pager" for more details. And for a look at our Chairman's submission to the Canadian government's Central Mortage & Housing Corporation as part of their "Let's Talk Housing" consultation intiative, simply link to his explanation of our Phase-3 G4Habitat project and our Phase-4 Villa Alfred Xavier Seniors' Manor proposal.
